Stinger, I know how the pain of sitting and looking at a bike during the cold months can add to the already depressing winter season. Not that winter is all bad, but it sure takes a bite out of the long stretches of highway we all love to take home in the summer time. However, it can also be a time to prepare your bike for the next chapter of its life. Like a new exhaust!!! I run a Jardine slip-on, and I have to admit it really has let me ride with a little more confidence compared to the stock tat, tat, tat, tat, sound. Also, I never would consider removing the white spacer, I understand it is what aids in the backfire of the motor. It is part of the character of the bike, sort of like blood on a linebacker during the playoffs, or scratches on a Chevy four by four.
Grace and Peace!
